Our pearls are only three primary colors - white, peach, and lavender - because these are the natural colors that freshwater cultured pearls come in. Black is an artificial color, dyed into the pearls through a chemical process.

Over time, the black pigment will fade and the pearl will lose its black luster. Thus, we do not consider these pearls “genuine freshwater cultured pearls”, and consistent with our values we will never sell any product that we do not consider genuine.
